As my sister would say, "long time, no blog." So sorry. We've been busy chasing down the bambinas. Nora is now walking up to ten steps at a time. Iris can hold on to the wall and try to keep up - but it won't be long for her!
We had such a great visit in Oklahoma over Mother's Day. Got to see Grandma Starr and Jessie and Nana the Great!
Oh, the girls also learned how to text that weekend. As you can see, they are very engrossed.

This weekend saw the family unit driving through Fairway on our way to the Plaza for some site seeing. Well what do you think we saw? Swings! That's right. Iris and Nora had the time of their lives, and at one point I couldn't get Iris to stop laughing. It was amazing!

Happy First Birthday!!!

Whew! A year flies by FAST! Today, the girls turned 1! We had the party at Old Chicago this afternoon. Thanks to EVERYBODY for celebrating with us. The party was a grand success. And especially thank you to Marcia Valera for her fabulous cake, Cousin Quinlan for being such an outstanding helper, and Grandma Starr for making the trip from Oklahoma. We love having you here!

Iris and Nora want to wish you a Happy St. Patrick's Day! Nora clearly is showing more enthusiasm. Iris will inch up the excitement next year.
Nora is loving the delicious sugar cookies that one of St. Patrick's elves dropped off on our doorstep. Wait...maybe I'm getting my holidays mixed up.

Cabin Fever Persists

The weather remains pretty cold here in KC, but we manage to make up our own indoor fun. A couple weeks ago, Iris and Nora had a playdate with little Quinn Roach. Quite a blast. Quinn is super cute!
Iris as E.T. - hiding among the stuffed animals. On one of the colder, more boring Sundays, we decided to do some handprints of the girls. Seemed easy enough.....
Except for the dripping paint and getting the girls to uncurl their fists.
