Sono Shots # 2

Here are a couple sonogram photos from yesterday of babies A and B. Doctor says everything looks great and the hearts are just beating along...

Don't ask me why I felt the need to post this picture. I'll just say this is one of my top three things to make for dinner and when I put it on the table I just knew I had to snag a picture of it.

The Baby James Shorts

Kristen and I had a great time this weekend playing with our nephew James. He had some good times as well, but maybe one or two not-so-fun times. I was able to capture a few and assemble some small clips I call the Baby James Shorts.

The Announcement

Although not as newsworthy as J.Lo's pending baby announcement, I'm happy to announce that Mark and I are 12 weeks pregnant. And it's a BOGO (buy one get one) - yep, twins! It was triplets, but one of them didn't make it - however, our doctor has confirmed that the two we have are very strong and big for their "age." Which is very good because they'll likely be born a month early. Here are some sonogram pics:
In true Kennedy sibling rivalry fashion, the baby on the left (above) is pounding on the wall of the other baby. Poor thing will probably be born with an "indention" in its arm from the abuse. See the two round heads and the white "flipper" looking objects hooked to the baby on the left? Those are the arms - wailing away at the wall separating them.

This is a side-view of baby "B." Head is on the right, rump on the left.

And now for the grand finale. Although quite early, our doctor is fairly confident that one is a boy. I just hope he's as good as our sweet nephew, Baby James. The other he's thinking is a girl, but he couldn't get a good enough view.

The sono picture below is the same as the one above, but our cheeky doctor thought it would be funny for Mark to have a picture talking about the "size" of our boy (currently measured at 3.3mm). I don't get it. Something to do with Mork from Ork - clearly a joke over my head.
