Wow! What a busy weekend! The girls have been busy visiting all sorts of people from grandparents to great aunts/uncles and cousins. They are so happy to finally be here. Thank you to everyone for coming to visit the girls this weekend. Rather than try to cohesively put together a collective of pictures, here is a "collage" of all the best photos from the last couple days. Many many more to come I'm sure...

Phone Pictures Day 2

Here are a couple pictures I took of Iris and Nora with my phone today. The lighting in the room is not very conducive to phone photography, but this will give you a pretty good idea of what they look like. Nora definitely looks like the Kennedy side of the family, while Iris is all Starr with her Irish red hair. Both are coming along well and are eating like champions. They are off to the nursery this evening and mom and I are about to take it easy for a while. More updates later... zzzzzzzzzz

Baby Starrs Are Here

The girls arrive one minute apart.

Iris is done with her first bath. Nora is up next.

Mom was a champ during delivery.

A long relationship comes to an end. Dr. Sheridan & the girls.

Nora eating for the first time. She was HUNGRY!

Iris after her first bath and sleeping under the warmer.

It was a very draining day on mommy, daddy, and the girls. Who knew they would come so soon? Only an hour or so after arriving at the hospital Dr. Sheridan showed up and we got ready for the big event. Kristen and I are glad they are here and didn't need to go to the NICU for special attention. They are currently eating every three hours and sleeping a lot. Sounds like something daddy needs to do. More to come. Stay posted!

Only a few more weeks!

Here we are at 34 weeks! This is what it looks like to carry around 9 pounds of kid. We went to our final Level 2 Sonogram today. Mark was on a mission to get some great pics of the girls since it would likely be our last sonogram before the birth. Unfortunately for Dad, they were so cramped and hard to see that we couldn't get any good shots. Baby A is now head down stretching her feet all the way up to my ribs and Baby B is behind the first baby with her head on the left side and her feet angled up to just under my right ribs. I believe B is destined to be an American Gladiator because she keeps kicking me. Violent like her aunt and mother. Ah well. We learned today that Baby A weighs 4 lbs. 10 oz and Baby B weighs 3 lbs 12 oz - although it's likely that B weighs more. Hard to tell with her stuck behind her sister. We're so excited for them to get here! Can't wait to meet our girls!
